So this is the first day of the “12 days of Spark” blogging website. We should probably state now that Spark isn’t really in 12 days, we’re just excluding weekends (because us sparkettes love the weekend!!). Spark runs from the 4-8th of August, so it’s a few weeks away, enough time to clear your schedule.
Anyway, I’m getting off topic. Perhaps I should give you a general run down of the things that have happened up until now? Basically we’ve just been writing media releases, organising which media outlets would be interested in Spark, and this lovely website
In total I’ve done around 40 hours on Spark so far… Amanda has done a fair bit more as I’ve had a rather busy schedule over the holidays (the part time job pretty much turned into a full time one). I’m really grateful for all the work Amanda (Sparkette #2) has done, and all the help she’s given me
She’s basically wonder woman in disguise!
I’ve decided I can’t wait for the festival to start… There are some amazing people coming to give workshops and talks over the week, as well as some fringe events to make it all extra special. I’m especially looking forward to meeting Kris Sowersby, he just seems really interesting
Catch up tomorrow,
Maybe I’ll put in some interesting facts we’ve found out about some of the speakers…
